Submission Instructions

Paper submissions must be made exclusively in electronic format through the JEMS system. Authors may submit papers written in either English or Portuguese, limited to 6 (six) pages of content, including the abstract (and abstract in English, for papers written in Portuguese), figures, diagrams, and appendices. Submissions must follow the SBC paper template.

All submitted papers will undergo a review process conducted by the WFD Program Committee, and selected papers will be organized for presentation and publication in the conference proceedings. At least one student author of each accepted paper must register for Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD) 2026 and present the work in order for it to be published in the proceedings.

Accepted papers will be published in the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) Open Lib digital library, in the Extended Proceedings of the Brazilian Symposium on Databases series (ISSN 2966-3946). All papers will receive a DOI.

The use of generative AI tools (such as LLMs) must be explicitly disclosed by the authors in the submission, briefly indicating their purpose (e.g., language revision, assistance in text structuring, generation of examples). Full responsibility for the content remains with the human authors, including the verification of all bibliographic references. By submitting papers to SBBD 2026, authors acknowledge that they comply with the SBC Code of Conduct for Authors.
