The COMBO category includes both event registration and SBC membership. COMBO categories offer the best value for non-members, as the registration fees are lower than those of the non-combo categories and already include SBC membership.
Visit the SBC website to learn about the benefits available to members. Becoming an SBC member is a way to strengthen the Brazilian Computer Society and support its role in representing the computing community across academia, industry, and government sectors.
Please visit the SBC website for the complete list of membership benefits.
For registration categories requiring proof of eligibility, a supporting document must be uploaded through the registration system (ECOS) during the registration process. Document verification may take up to one business day. Payment options will only become available after the document has been validated by the SBC team. Participants will receive email notifications at every stage of their SBBD 2026 registration process.
The publication fee of BRL 120.00 applies only to full papers published in the main conference proceedings. Each registration under the Professional category includes the publication of one full paper. For additional papers, or for papers whose authors are registered under other categories, an additional fee of BRL 120.00 per paper is required. A registration is considered valid when its status is marked as “Paid”, except in cases involving purchase orders, invoicing, or institutional member exemptions, which are subject to subsequent verification.
Registrations may be paid through bank slip (boleto), credit card, Banco do Brasil direct debit, purchase order, or invoicing via the SBC registration system. Payments via bank slip and direct debit are available until September 6, 2026. All other payment methods remain available until the last day of the event. For payments by purchase order or invoicing, participants must select the corresponding option in the registration system and follow the instructions provided for issuing the required documentation.
Until August 19, 2026, participants may request a refund of 70% of the amount paid for registration in the Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD). After this date, no refunds will be granted. This policy applies both to event registration cancellations and to the cancellation of any additional activities. To request a cancellation, please send an email to faturamento@sbc.org.br.
