As an appendix to the proposal, a short CV of each workshop organizer must be provided (up to 2 pages per organizer), including a photo, a brief biography highlighting experience in organizing events, and any available information about previous editions of the proposed workshop, with emphasis on submission and registration statistics. Please note that at least one workshop organizer must register for SBBD 2026 and attend the conference, at least during the workshop.
For accepted workshops, the paper submission and author notification dates are defined by the workshop organizers, but must be aligned with the Important Dates announced in this call.
Proposals must be submitted directly by email to mholanda@unb.br and damires@ifpb.edu.br, with the subject line “[SBBD2026-Workshops] Workshop Proposal”.
Workshop proposals will be evaluated based on the quality of the proposal, its relevance to the main topics of SBBD, the potential to attract participants, the opportunity for debate and discussion, as well as the experience of the proposers. Coordinators of accepted workshops are also encouraged to propose invited speakers, in order to foster interaction and discussion among participants.
