O V Workshop de Trabalhos de Alunos de Graduação (V WTAG) será realizado durante o Simpósio Brasileiro de Banco de Dados (SBBD) 2024. O WTAG visa promover a participação de estudantes de graduação e de recém-graduados na produção e divulgação de trabalhos sobre temas relacionados à área de Banco de Dados. Autores estão convidados a submeter trabalhos que incluam resultados parciais ou finais das suas pesquisas tecnológicas e científicas, incluindo: Trabalhos de Iniciação Científica (IC), Trabalhos de Iniciação Tecnológica (IT), Trabalhos de Conclusão de Curso (TCC), implementações de software e projetos de pesquisa ou desenvolvimento independentes que se encaixem nos tópicos de interesse do SBBD 2024.

• Article registration: July 15, 2024
• Article submission: July 15, 2024
• Acceptance notification: Aug 19, 2024
• Final version submission: Sep 2, 2024

Submissions

Submission Instructions

Submission of articles will be exclusively electronic, through the system JEMS. For submission, authors must write articles in English or Portuguese, limited to 6 (six) pages of content including summary (and abstract, for articles in Portuguese), figures, diagrams, and annexes, and a extra page for references. Works must be formatted following the model of SBC articles.

Articles will go through a review process by the Program Committee of the WTAG, and the selected works will be organized for presentation and publication in the event annals.

Each article must have at least 2 authors: (1) an undergraduate student or recent graduate (graduated in 2022 or 2023); and (2) faculty advisor of the work. The student must be the first author of the submission.

The student of each selected article must register for SBBD 2024 and present the work.

Award for the Best Articles

For award purposes, the revised accepted articles and the quality of the oral presentation made by the student will be evaluated by a specific WTAG Committee.

The best articles will be awarded with a certificate at the end of WTAG.
