VI Workshop on Undergraduate Student Research (WTAG)
The VI Workshop of Undergraduate Student Papers (VI WTAG) will be held during the 2025 Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD 2025). The WTAG aims to promote the participation of undergraduate students and recent graduates in the production and dissemination of work related to Database topics. Authors are invited to submit papers that include partial or final results of their technological and scientific research, including: Scientific Initiation (IC) projects, Technological Initiation (IT) projects, Final Undergraduate Projects (TCC), software implementations, and independent research or development projects aligned with the topics of interest of SBBD 2025.

Submission
Submission Instructions
Submissions must be made electronically through the JEMS system. Papers can be written in Portuguese or English and must be limited to 6 (six) pages of content, including abstract (and resumo, for papers in Portuguese), figures, diagrams, and appendices, plus 1 extra page for references. Papers must follow the SBC article formatting template.
All submissions will undergo a review process conducted by the WTAG Program Committee. Selected papers will be scheduled for presentation and will be published in the event proceedings.
Each paper must have at least two authors:

An undergraduate student or recent graduate (graduated in 2024 or 2025), and
-
A faculty advisor.
The student must be listed as the first author of the submission.
Students with accepted papers must register for SBBD 2025 and present their work at the event.
Best Paper Awards
A dedicated WTAG Committee will evaluate accepted papers and their oral presentations to determine the winners. The best papers will be awarded certificates at the end of the WTAG.
