Accepted initial proposals will proceed to a second phase, in which they must be expanded into a full text with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 pages. The final text will be published as a book chapter. The formatting guidelines for the final version will be sent directly to the authors. Questions regarding short course submissions should be directed to duarte@uffs.edu.br.
If funding is available, one of the authors may receive financial support for travel and accommodation to present the short course. If there are insufficient resources to support all selected authors, the event organizers will establish criteria to allocate the available funds in a way that supports the largest number of proposals. Authors will be informed during the final version submission phase. At least one author of the short course must register for the symposium—preferably the presenter.
