DS4SG – Data Science for Social Good Brazilian Workshop

The DS4SG aims to discuss how research in Data Science can contribute to solving the challenging problems faced by contemporary societies, such as promoting public health, public safety, and sustainable development, among others. With this purpose, DS4SG will bring together professionals from different branches of Data Science research and will cover a wide variety of application domains, providing a forum to share initiatives and create collaboration opportunities for future work. In this sense, DS4SG seeks to attract papers that present Data Science methods and applications oriented towards Social Good — that is, aiming to address important and urgent challenges of contemporary society. Multidisciplinary work is strongly encouraged, involving not only computing, but also other fields of knowledge such as sociology, journalism, law, theology, among others.
