In its 7th edition, the symposium will be held in Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará, Brazil, from 07 to 10 October. This year, KDMiLe is being organized by the Computing Department – UFC.

Universidade 7 de Setembro (UNI7) is an institution committed to a high standard of teaching. Their maintainers constitute a group with 80 years of educational experience that aims to promote, always in their students and professors, the ideal of growing, building, and learning to learn. The UNI7 offers an education that provides high-level formation and improvement through undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate courses. In all, there are 2 campuses with 16 undergraduate courses and more than 30 postgraduate courses, besides the UNI7 Institute, a reference center of business in the Northeast, that provides to companies and managers, the best existent resources in the global market to encourage the innovation and enable sustainable performance leaps.

For 15 years, the course of Informations Systems of UNI7 is training professionals for the information technology job market, providing basic and advanced education in computer science, applied computing and related areas. The courses’ objective is to train the student to solve real world problems, and also aims to give the student skills to develop, deploy and manage high-quality information systems. The graduates of the course are spread in companies from Ceará, Brazil and even abroad.

The building, located on a plot of 13,000 m², has a total area of 50,000 m², distributed in five floors, two of them in the basement. The parking lot is designed to house 1,500 vehicles inside the building itself, in two basements and six more floors, all of which are covered. It also has a food court, large living areas, a 650 m² Theater with capacity for 550 people, a 320 m² Auditorium with capacity for 180 people, 14 computer labs, audiovisual laboratories, engineering, 130 classrooms and library with individual study areas.
