{"id":747,"date":"2016-10-19T10:26:29","date_gmt":"2016-10-19T13:26:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sbbd.org.br\/?page_id=747"},"modified":"2018-10-31T14:38:16","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T17:38:16","slug":"history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sbbd.org.br\/index.php\/history\/","title":{"rendered":"History"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD), sponsored annually by the <a href=\"https:\/\/comissoes.sbc.org.br\/cebd\/\">Special Database Commission<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbc.org.br\/\">Brazilian Computer Society (SBC)<\/a>, has brought together since 1986 researchers, students and professionals from Brazil and abroad, who present and discuss topics related to the last advances in the area. It was a pocket format, with no short courses.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SBBD Best Student Paper Award was implemented with the goal of giving honor to the best paper presented by a student.\u00a0The paper \u201cPrivLBS: uma Abordagem para Preserva\u00e7\u00e3o de Privacidade de Dados em Servi\u00e7os Baseados em Localiza\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, by Eduardo R.D. Neto, Andr\u00e9 L.C. Mendon\u00e7a, Felipe T. Brito and Javam C.
