General Information<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

SBBD2020 registration included online participation in
A inscri\u00e7\u00e3o no SBBD2020 incluiu participa\u00e7\u00e3o em:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • all technical sessions \/ todas as sess\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas;<\/span><\/li>
  • keynote speakers presentations\/ apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es de palestrantes convidados;<\/span><\/li>
  • all tutorials \/ todos os tutoriais;<\/span><\/li>
  • WTDBD sessions \/ sess\u00f5es WTDBD;<\/span><\/li>
  • Demos sessions \/ sess\u00f5es de Demos;<\/span><\/li>
  • CEBD (SBC database committee) open meeting \/ Reuni\u00e3o aberta da CEBD (Comiss\u00e3o Especial de Bancos de Dados) da SBC.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    All registered participants were entitled to a SBBD2020 certificate.
    Todos participantes inscritos tiveram direito a certificados SBBD 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Important<\/strong>: SBBD2020 accepts only a limited number (300)<\/div> of registered participants due to the online-only zoom-based operation mode. All the others may enjoy free streaming service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Important<\/strong>e: Devido \u00e0s restri\u00e7\u00f5es tecnol\u00f3gicas de transmiss\u00e3o online na plataforma zoom, o SBBD2020 teve um n\u00famero m\u00e1ximo de 300 participantes inscritos. Os demais puderam assistir gratuitamente por streaming.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For Authors<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    At least one author (any category), for each accepted paper (full, short, demos, and WTDBD), had to register and pay the extra publication fee. The authors had to register before September 20th <\/strong>to confirm their acceptance for presentation and proceedings publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Pelo menos um autor, para cada artigo aceito a ser apresentado no SBBD2020, teve de confirmar sua inscri\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00e9 20 de setembro.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Short Courses<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    In order to register for a short course, participants had to registered for SBBD2020 as well. For each short course, there was an individual fee and additional certificates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Inscri\u00e7\u00f5es nos minicursos tiveram taxa adicional e exigiram inscri\u00e7\u00e3o no evento principal. Participantes dos minicursos obtiveram certificados espec\u00edficos adicionais.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Observations for students \/ Observa\u00e7\u00f5es para estudantes<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Student fees were available only for students who are enrolled in a higher education institution as undergraduate (aluno de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o,\u00a0in Portuguese)\u00a0or graduate students (Ph.D or Master). Proof of student status containing affiliation, attendee\u2019s name, enrollment course, and current date had to be shown upon request. Failure to present such a proof document would have implied in paying the difference for Professional registration category (with no discount). The\u00a0Student fee did not apply to post docs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tarifas de estudante estiveram dispon\u00edveis apenas para estudantes matriculados em institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino superior como aluno de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o ou de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o (mestrandos e doutorandos). Declara\u00e7\u00f5es de status contendo nome da institui\u00e7\u00e3o, nome do aluno, curso matriculado e data corrente tiveram de ser apresentados quando requisitado. A aus\u00eancia de documento implicaria no pagamento da diferen\u00e7a da tarifa profissional para a tarifa de estudante (sem desconto). A tarifa para estudante n\u00e3o se aplica a posdocs<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cancellation policy<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    The deadline for the registration refund request was September 27th. In this case, the participant had to send an email to faturamento@sbc.org.br and to the SBBD2020 general chair. The reimbursement was of 80% of the value paid (the remaining would cover the administrative costs of registration). No cancellation for Author registration would have been accepted after September 21st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cancelamentos ou desist\u00eancias de inscri\u00e7\u00f5es realizadas deveriam ser feitas at\u00e9 dia 27 de setembro. O participante deveria enviar email para faturamento@sbc.org.br com c\u00f3pia ao coordenador geral do SBBD2020. O reembolso neste caso seria limitado a 80% do valor efetivamente pago. Autores n\u00e3o puderam cancelar inscri\u00e7\u00f5es ap\u00f3s 21 de setembro.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Additional observations<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    SBBD2020 was available by streaming for free! However, people who had not previously registered were not allowed to interact with presenters and did not receive certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
